Fata to speak on Ukraine-Russia crisis (March 10)

Dan Fata, an expert on the Ukraine-Russia crisis, visits us on Monday, March 10, 2014. Fata, a UConn alum who coordinated the U.S. response to Russia’s 2008 invasion of Georgia as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, will visit classes, have lunch with honors students, and give a public talk.

Join us at 4:00 pm in OAK 438 for his discussion of “Dealing with Putin: The View from the Pentagon.”

Dan graduated UConn with honors in political science (’94), and has been featured in several media outlets this week. Read an interview with him on Russia / Georgia / Crimea and watch his appearance on CNN.
