O’Mara ’12 accepted to graduate program at Northeastern

Aidan O’Mara (POLS 2012) has been accepted to the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, where he has received a graduate fellowship to pursue a Master’s of Science in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration (MSA/MBA) beginning in 2013. While a student at UConn, Aidan wrote on global accounting standards and their relevance to the fight against corruption in China for Professor Hertel’s course on Globalization & Political Change (POLS 3406W). He credits that experience, in part, with his decision to pursue the joint degree.

Aidan also notes that he first became aware of this graduate program “from a flyer in Monteith.” Memories!
