Workshop on Forests, Rights, and Insurgency in South Asia, November 30

This day-long workshop will bring together faculty and graduate researchers from the University of Bergen, University of London, University of Lethbridge, Yale University, Harvard University, New York University, and the University of Connecticut. The presentations and discussions will focus on the questions of state society dynamics and resource conflicts in South Asia. The workshop is likely to be of interest to faculty, graduate students, and honors students in the fields of political science, public and environmental affairs, sociology, anthropology, geography, and those interested in the tremendous social and political changes underway in South Asia.
