Sustainable Energy in the 21st Century
Spring 2013

This course provides a truly interdisciplinary approach to understanding current energy issues. On the one hand, we will learn about the science, engineering and economics behind alternative energy sources. On the other hand, we will examine current energy policies and the politics behind these policies on a cross-national basis. By the end of this course, students will have a fuller understanding of energy dynamics around the world. They will learn how to realistically evaluate the merits of alternative energy resources that can help create a more sustainable future.
