Professor Kashwan is offering the course Quantitative Analysis in Political Science/Introductory Statistics during the May term (May 7 to May 25). No prior knowledge of statistics is assumed on part of the students interested in the course.
Recommended preparation: High School Algebra II and MATH 1010 or equivalent.
One of the key goals for this course is to help student develop an intuitive appreciation of the tools and techniques of quantitative analysis. Real life examples from political science, policy, and business are used to foreground the discussions.
