Interested in Interning in the Judicial Branch?
Ms. Rosanne Purtill and Ms. Juana Brown will be visiting campus on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. They will be providing information and even taking applications from those interested in an internship with the CT Judicial Branch. Interviews may also be conducted on this date.
Where? Monteith, Room 100.
When? Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
General Program requirements:
—ability to work at least 10 hours/week for the length of the semester, during the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
—no current cases before the court;
—no current participation in any diversionary program such as Alcohol Education (DWI), Accelerated Rehabilitation, Family Violence Program or any first offender program for drug offenses.
Students should have an interest in the law, government, law enforcement, social work, psychology or other related career fields. Placements accessible to UConn students are in Willimantic/Danielson, Norwich, New London, Hartford, Manchester and Rockville as well as other locations in the state.
